What this actually means is that you create a webpage or blog with interesting information, but you do not want anyone to actually click on your link so you create a bait to attract them into clicking on your link. You can do this by creating a topic-based content that revolves around the title of the web page or blog. For example, if you create a page about SEO techniques for beginners in the field of internet marketing, you can create a bait to get people interested in reading about that topic: How to obtain targeted organic traffic to your web page or blog.
  3. Once you have done that, you then create new content related to that title and link to that new content, in order to convince the reader that they should click on your links. However, do not waste too much time writing about this new content. Spend the next few days analyzing the behavior of those who have clicked on your links. Use those keywords to optimize your blog posts and your web page.
  4. The third of the four SEO techniques on this list is called inbound link building, which refers to getting other websites to link back to your page. To achieve this, there are two options. You can either create your own pages that are full of relevant and useful content, or you can outsource to professionals. Many websites will tell you to hire a professional link builder. While this may be an effective way to boost your ranking, it can also lead to Google devaluing your page and make you appear less authoritative.
  5. The fourth of the four SEO techniques on the list is called external linking, which simply means writing articles and submitting them to article directories. This sends a link from the directory back to your page. So, apart from creating a new web page with new content, you should also make sure that any articles you write are also posted at directories where relevant readers may have already seen them. So, if you want to boost your SEO rankings, you will need to make sure that you post a lot of articles.
  6. The fifth SEO technique to watch for is the keyword ranking strategy. This is pretty obvious. What you will do is to check the competitor's web pages and then use the keywords that are most used in these sites to incorporate them into your titles and meta descriptions. So, if you want to see results from all the efforts you make towards SEO ranking, you should include as many keywords as possible into your titles and meta descriptions.
  7. The sixth SEO techniques to try is to use white hat keyword research tools. There are quite a few white hat keyword research tools that you can find online. Most of these tools work in the same way as the traditional keyword research tools, but they take your current list of keywords and modify it to come up with more targeted keywords. So, rather than just concentrating on the 'big' keywords that you think your competitors are using, you should be using these tools to come up with more targeted keywords.
  8. The seventh SEO technique to watch out for is to create informative articles on your website. These articles should be related to the content of your website and should be written in the third person. In the first paragraph you should mention your name and website address, in the second paragraph to provide more information about your company, and in the last paragraph provide some recommendations. Once you have posted your article to the right websites, you will see results from all the efforts you have put in towards SEO ranking.
